That was our reaction after our first bite of The Wurst Street Dogs’ insanely perfect specialty hot dogs. Without a doubt, these are contenders for our favorite noms of 2022, and what you should be doing right now is seeing how you can fit a visit to their next pop-up in your weekend schedule.
And don’t ask us to pick a favorite, because that’d be like having to pick a favorite child so we’ll leave it at “they are all our favorites:”
🌽🇲🇽 Freak on a Leash: a heck of an elote dog with street corn, chipotle-lime crema, cotija cheese, and cilantro
🇺🇸 Ferris Bueller: a classic Chicago dog with onions, tomato, relish, a pickle spear, pepperoncini, mustard, and celery salt
🇰🇷 Seoul Train: kimchi slaw, “Seoul” sauce, sriracha mayo, and scallions
🇻🇳 Bahn-Mi and Clyde: pickled daikon, fresh jalapeño, sriracha mayo, and cilantro
