In November 2019, we posted about a casual Mexican eatery hidden away in the back of a market off Davis Boulevard near 41. In just over 2 years, La Oaxaqueña has cemented themselves as a major player in Naples’ Mexican food scene serving up enormous Tlayudas aka ‘REAL’ Mexican pizzas and our favorite quesabirria tacos around.
No need to keep waiting on a certain fast food brand to bring back a Mexican pizza when you have traditional Oaxacan tlayudas just down the street. A giant toasted homemade tortilla, smothered in refried beans, topped with melty Oaxacan cheese, cabbage, sliced tomato and avocados, steak and chorizo.
And need we say more about incredibly flavorful quesabirria tacos? Dip, bite, sip on agua fresca, repeat.
